Remembering 9/11

Today on the tenth anniversary of 9/11, I am sure we all can remember where we were when we heard what had happened. I was living in California. I was getting my kids up and ready for school when a friend called and told me to switch on the television. I remember watching in horror at what was happening on the other coast. My husband was on his way to the airport and wouldn't be leaving for Seattle since all the planes would be grounded that morning. It was a day that changed everything.

I hope you are able to spend today with those you love and who love you. I will remember those who sacrificed their lives to save others. And those families who are without their loved ones because of what happened that day.

Be sure to read this touching post by my friend Lara of Less Cake {More Frosting} I love her inspiring printable.

xoxo
